I had been planning on buying new wireless headphones for some time and had my heart set on the latest pair by Bose. Due to the expense, I wanted to save by purchasing them duty-free on my next International trip. So I planned to buy these last week when I flew out of Sydney airport to Hong Kong.
Little did I know that Sony had just released the WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones which was around the same price point as the Bose. When trying both out, Sony was a standout from the two due to the comfort and the more advanced features.
One of the best features about the Sony WH-1000XM3 is the ability to just put your hand over the earpiece and the sound blocking option turns off. So when a flight attendant approaches and asks a question, you don’t have to take your headphones off, you just cover the earpiece with your hand and you can hear everything they say. Genius!!!
The other great feature is the ability to just swipe up and down on the earpiece to control the volume and swipe left and right to move between tracks.
I’ve just tested these out on my flight from Sydney to Hong Kong and the sound quality is amazing and all of the features mentioned above made wearing them a pleasure.
All I can say is, don’t buy any new wireless headphones until you try out the Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
